A note to the grammarians out there - the writing process includes numerous steps of writing, reading, editing, rewriting, etc.  I have little time for those things while writing this journal.  Many times I am writing in a state of exhaustion, other times, I am writing while trying desperately to recall what happened several days earlier and I am hard-pressed to concentrate on the grammar.  Suffice it to say, I'm doing the best I can at the moment I write.
